4 women dead in Peshawar suicide attack

ISLAMABAD (Pajhwok): Four women’s northwestern city of Peshawar on Monday, police said.

A suicide bomber blew himself up near a house in Issa Khan Garhi area during a raid, the senior superintendent of police (SSP) told reporters. 

Najeeb Khan said the police raid was based on information regarding the presence of suspicious persons in the area. Women at the house were busy in Quran Khwani at the time of the explosion.

Security forces cordoned off the area and a bomb disposal squad was also called in. Police arrested two alleged terrorists from the site.
