KABUL (Pajhwok): Dozens of residents staged a protest to condemn the killing of a civilian by police in the Pul-i-Charkhi area on the eastern outskirts of Kabul, officials said on Wednesday.
Col. Akbar Ali, police chief for the 12th district, told Pajhwok Afghan News the protestors -- carrying the victim’s body -- gathered in front of the Pul-i-Charkhi prison and demanded the arrest of the alleged killer.
