1 foreign soldier killed in southern Afghanistan

KABUL, ISAF said in a statement on Saturday.

The service member was killed following an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in southern Afghanistan, the NATO-led troops said in a brief statement late today.

In line with its policy, ISAF neither revealed the nationality of the fallen soldiers nor the exact location of the blast.
