KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Directorate of Security (NDS) on Sunday claimed busting a four-member squad of would-be suicide bombers in the central capital Kabul.
In a statement, the spy service said the alleged suicide attackers were detained in the jurisdiction of 5th police district. It claimed the detainees were affiliated with Haji Abdul Hadi, who leads the Taliban Quetta Shura’s Fidaeen Front.
They were planning to carry out attacks in Qarghai and Shash Darak localities on the outskirts of Kabul, the statement said.
Suicide vests, military uniforms, weapons of various brands and other explosive devices were recovered from the detained men, identified as residents of Daimardad and Chak districts of central Maidan Wardak province.
The NDS’s Balochistan province, under the supervision of Hadi.
