British soldier dies in Helmand
KABUL (Pajhwok): A NATO soldier has died from non-battle related injuries in southern Afghanistan, the alliance said on Wednesday, taking the death toll for international troops in the country to 17 this year, including 14 Americans.
The British Defence Ministry announced a soldier from 32 Engineer Regiment died earlier today from non-battle related injuries sustained in Camp Bastion in southern Helmand province.
"The incident did not involve any enemy action", the ministry said, adding his next of kin have been informed.
The death toll for foreign troops was 160 last year and 402 in 2012.
