Casualties as police, militants clash in Alingar

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): One policeman and one militant were killed during an overnight clash that left two policemen and seven militants injured in eastern Laghman province, an official said on Friday.

The Taliban have said nothing about the clash on Thursday night in Barhwai area of Alingar district, approximately 27 km from Mehtarlam, the provincial capital.
