KABUL Food Programme (WFP) provide food and nutrition assistance to 3.7 million food-insecure Afghans.
The USAID contribution is part of an ongoing international effort to improve food security and nutrition for Afghans, particularly natural-disaster victims, the internally displaced and those living in chronic poverty.
Malnourished children, schoolchildren and pregnant women’s 184 most food-insecure districts.
Since 2010, USAID said in a statement, it had provided more than 270,722 metric tons of mixed commodities valued at some $365.5 million to WFP’s operations in Afghanistan.
