Crime branch official dead in Khost blast

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Two people, including the crime branch chief for Tanai district, were killed and four others wounded in a bomb blast inside a mosque designated as a polling centre, an official said on Friday.

Javed Joshan, the district administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place in a mosque in Narizai locality. He said security forces were investigating the incident.

Khost Hospital Director Dr. Abdul Majid Mangal said four of the injured had been brought to the hospital but they were in stable condition.
