MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): The Untied States of America on Tuesday asked Afghan authorities to consider a quick conclusion of the Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA) after successful election on April 5.

Peter G Kaestner, the USA consul in Mazar-i-Sharif, congratulated the Afghan people for the landmark elections and reiterated his stance over the security pact. He said the Afghan government should sign the deal.

At an exhibition in Mazar-i-Sharif, the diplomat said the massive turnout had proved Afghans’ rejection of violence and their desire to move toward peace, stability and democracy. He said the elections were important for Afghanistaninfo-icon’s future.
