3 of a family killed in Parwan collision

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A couple and their young son died in a traffic accident in central Parwan province, an official said on Friday.

Traffic official Mohammad Younus Pardesi told Pajhwok Afghan News the family was travelling in a car that collided head-on with another vehicle last night around 12am.

The crash took place in Hofyan area on the outskirts of Charikar, the provincial capital. The family was travelling to central Panjsher province.

A fourth person was wounded in the mishap on the Kabul-North highway, which Pardesi said was becoming notorious for accidents often blamed on carelessness.
