Projects worth $4m executed in Paktika last year
SHARANA (Pajhwok): The education director on Sunday said a number of projects facilitating schoolteachers and students have been executed at a cost of nearly $4 million in southeastern Paktika province last solar year that ended March 21.
Kuchai Zazai told Pajhwok Afghan News the schemes, including buildings for 10 schools and a well-equipped structure for the Agriculture Institute, were carried out in the provincial capital, Sharana, and districts.
He said the buildings had all allied facilities, including clean drinking water, and work on another similar 27 projects was underway.
Eng. Zabihullah, the engineering department head at the education department, told Pajhwok that the mentioned projects had been executed in Sharana, Argun, Yusafkhel, Yahyakhel, Wor Mami and other districts.
