GHAZNI CITY (PAJHWOK): The governor of southern Ghazni province on Wednesday stressed to accelerate pace of work on the building of social affairs department in his province.
Musa Akbarzada said, currently the social affairs department had no proper buildings and a private residential compound was being used by the officials.
He expressed these views after he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the building. The building would cost 10 million afghanis, which was funded by the Ministry of Social Work and Social Affairs.
Abdul Karim Noorzai, head of work and social affairs department, said his staff was discharging duties in a rented house where they faced immense problems.
Work on the building of social affairs department was a matter of satisfaction for locals and officials but most of the departments in the province would yet get proper buildings.
