38 rebels eliminated in search operations: MoI

KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirty-eight militants have been in security operations in different provinces over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) claimed on Friday.

Afghan soldiers, police and intelligence personnel conducted the operations, which led to the detention of four insurgents and injuries to two others, an MoI statement said.

The search operations were conducted in Kunduz, Faryab, Sar-i-Pul, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Ghazni, Khost, Paktika, Farah, Helmand and Nimroz provinces.
