Pakistan flays attack on Indian consulate
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad said: “Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. No cause justifies targeting of diplomatic missions.”
In a statement, the ministry said it was a matter of relief that no one from the consulate staff was hurt in the assault that left five suicide bombers dead.
A group of bombers started firing at the diplomatic mission at 4.00am when it entered a residential building in front of the consulate in Herat City.
