4 paramilitary troops dead in Mohmand blast
KABUL (Pajhwok): Four security personnel were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region of Mohmand near the Afghanistan border on Saturday morning.
Three paramilitary troops were injured when a convoy of the Frontier Constabulary came under attack in Pandiali sub-district, Pakistani media reported. The injured soldiers were evacuated to hospital.
DawnNews quoted official sources as saying that security forces cordoned off the area and began a search operation after the incident. The security personnel were sent to Pandiali for a search operation as militants blew up a school there.
Elsewhere in the area, militants attacked the house of a member of a peace committee, Alam Sher, in Wacha Jawara locality.
