KABUL (Pajhwok): In a latest development, as many as 30,000 families in Kabul City would provide with uninterrupted power supply after the installation of new electricity transformer, an official said on Sunday.
Around 20,000 kilowatt electricity would be generated to benefit the residents of Chilsatoon, Sanatoriam, Kart-i-Sai, Kart-i-Char and Kart-i-Naw localities, director of Afghanistan Brishna Shirkat (ABS) told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Ishaq Samadi said, around eight percent expanses of the project had been paid by the ABS. In addition, he said installation of another transformer was included in the project in next two weeks in Wasal Abad area of the capital city.
Salim Shah, a resident of Nasib Shahid locality, said almost 200 families were without electricity in his locality.
