KABUL (Pajhwok): Expressing grave concern over continued rocket attacks by Pakistani forces on border Afghan districts, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Friday asked Islamabad to immediately bring to a halt the aggression.

In a statement issued to Pajhwok Afghan News, the ministry said Pakistan had resumed firing rockets into border districts in eastern Kunar and Nangarhar provinces, causing heavy life and material losses.

Those were inhumane acts, the statement said, asking Pakistan to stop the shelling with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, hundreds of people held a big demonstration in Kunar, condemning Pakistan’s rocket attacks on the province.

The protesters were chanting slogans against Pakistani’s intelligence agency and its army.
