WAP announces support to Ahmadzai

KABUL Party (WAP) on Friday announced support to presidential contender Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai in the runoff ballot scheduled to take place on June 14.

Hundreds of party’s workers attended the gathering here in Kabul held in support of Ahmadzai. Muhammad Yar, a leading member of the party, told the gathering they had decided to back the former finance minister because he had the qualities to lead the country to development and prosperity.

He asked the people to come out of their homes on June 14 and cast their vote in favour of Ahmadzai and his team in larger interest of the country and nation.

Among others, Sarwar Danish, second choice of Ahmadzai, was present on the occasion. Danish while speaking on the occasion that the party was needed to encourage other people, including universities students, colleges and schools to vote his team for a bright and prosperous Afghanistan.

He pledged his team would work for the stability, unity, development and economic prosperity of the country.
