Kunar security for polling sites satisfactory

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Governor Shuja-ul-Mulk Jalala said on Saturday that the voting process was underway smoothly in eastern Kunar province without any security concern.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News a rocket was fired into Asadabad City, the provincial capital, early in the morning as the voting process kicked off but the attack caused no loss.

He said there were satisfactory reports regarding security situation in the districts and no untoward incident took place as of yet.
