Border & Tribal Affairs Dept gets new building
JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A new building for the Border and Tribal Affairs Department was inaugurated in the capital of eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday.
The two storey-building, having 16 rooms and other facilities, was constructed at a cost of 10.1 million afghanis, provided by the ministry concerned.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony in Jalalabad, Governor Maulvi Attaullah Ludin hoped the new building would help resolve problems of staff and visitors.
He highlighted the importance of the department’s role in resolving tribal disputes, announcing the reconstruction of four kilometres of roads.
