MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Six persons were injured on Sunday when a speedy car overturned in the Tagab district of central Kapisa province, an official said.
The incident occured in Paindakhel area, said Humayun Rashidi, the provincial police spokesman. He said the car was en route to Kabul when it skidded off the road and overturned.
Fazal Rabi, a doctor at the Tagab hospital, confirmed receiving the six injured persons, saying with two of them were in critical condition.
Syed Rahim, a local, said roadside bomb blasts had left the road bumpy and uneven, which often led to such accidents.
During the last three days, 25 people have been killed and many others wounded in traffic accidents in Nangarhar and Balkh provinces.
President Hamid Karzai has recentlu directed the departments concerned to make efforts at preventing road accidents.
