MAIDAN CITY (Pajhwok): Work on gravelling 10-kilometre road in central Maidan Wardak province has been completed, an official said.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, said the road had been built in the central Behsood district. The construction work costs around 28 million afghanis.
The newly constructed road would help link Safaid Sand and Surkh Shenia localities. Funds for the project were provided by the National Rural Access Program, Khogyani added.
Jan Aqa Mohsil, administrative chief of Behsood district, said he would adopt measures to keep proper maintenance of the road.
