1 killed, 7 wounded in Farah accident

FARAH CIY (Pajhwok): One person was killed and seven others injured in a traffic accident in western Farah province on Wednesday, an official said.

The accident occurred at around 3:30 am in the Dig Frosh locality on the outskirts of Farah City, the provincial capital, Transport Director Haji Abdul Samad told Pajhwok Afghan News.  

Naqibullah 19 an injured travelling from Farah to Kandahar said: “Our bus crashed with a truck coming from the opposite direction. The driver lost control and the bus overturned,” he added.

Dr. Abdul Hakim Rasooli, civil hospital director, said seven injured had been brought to the hospital with multiple injuries.

Earlier, ten people were wounded in an accident in the Bala bulok district.
