The team would play four one-day internationals (ODIs) and two Test matches with the hosts, Farid Hotak, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The 16 members squad includes Noor Ali, Usman Ghani, Javed Ahmadi, Asghar Stanikzai, Shafiqullah Shafaq, Samiullah Shinwari, Mohmmad Nabi Esakhel (captain), Hashmatullah Shahidi, Rahmat Shah, Mirwis Ashraf, Gulbadin Naib, Shahpoor Zadran, Dawlat Zadran, Aftab Alam, Hamza Hotak and Sharafuddin Sharaf.
