3 policemen killed in militants’ attack

KABUL (Pajhwok): Three policemen were killed when militants stormed a security check post in the Shindand district of western Herat province on Saturday, an official said.

Abdul Rauf Ahmadi, provincial police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that rebels mounted attack on a police post in the district bazaar, leaving all the three police officers dead.

The rebels managed to flee and police had started raids to nab them. However, Taliban did not comment on the incident.
