KABUL (Pajhwok): Police have detained 11 people in connection with robbery and murder cases in the capital Kabul, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Monday.

A statement from the ministry said the accused had been detained in different areas of Kabul during the past 24 hours. But the MoI did not provide details about the detainees.

A number of civil society organisations lauded the performance of Afghan National Police (ALP) following the arrest of seven criminals involved in gang-rape and robbery cases in Paghman last week.
