KUNDUZ (Pajhwok): Local officials said Saturday that a month long operation launched in Chahar Dara district of northeastern Kunduz province ended with the killing of at least 130 insurgents while Taliban still flexing muscles amid claims of inflicting heavy casualties on Afghan forces.
The Shaheen-2 operation was launched jointly by Afghan National Army (ANA), Afghan National Police (ANP), National Directorate of Security (NDS), public order police, and Afghan Local Police (ALP) to flush out militants from Chahar Dara district.
