Some elements trying to create rifts: Salangi (Video)

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The governor of central Parwan province on Tuesday claimed some elements in both presidential campaigns were trying to fuel differences between the two sides.

Abdul Basir Salangi was addressing a gathering of about 300 people marking the third death anniversary of former president Burhanuddin Rabbani in Charikar, the provincial capital.

Salangi paid rich tributes to Rabbani, saying the great jihadi leader had made untiring efforts to achieve peace in Afghanistan.

Rabbani, the then High Peace Council chief, was killed three years back in a suicide attack at his Kabul residence.
