KABUL (Pajhwok): Two civilians were killed and three others wounded in a bomb blast in the 5th police district of Kabul on Tuesday, an official said.
Ministry of Interior spokesman Siddique Siddiqui said the explosion took place around 7am when a magnetic bomb went off close to Sara-i-Herati area.
Two civilians were killed and three others including a school student and a municipality worker wounded in the incident in Kota Sangi locality, he added.
The wounded were evacuated to hospital and an investigation into the blast was underway, Siddiqui said.
A Pajhwok reporter at the scene said a car was hit by the bomb. He saw stains of blood on the spot where the vehicle carrying municipality workers was also partially damaged.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
