KABUL’s airspace on Wednesday, media reports said.

The ISAF choppers entered Pakistani territory where they stayed for at least 10 minutes before returning to Afghanistan, a leading newspaper reported.

Dawn quoted official sources as saying that five helicopters were seen flying near the Pak-Afghan border. Two of them entered Pakistani territory in Torkham and Pasidkhel areas.

The NATO positions in the rugged terrain were assaulted some days back.

According to the Express Tribune, the airspace violation took place at 11am. A security official told the newspaper ISAF troops were engaged in military action on the Afghanistan side of the border.
