KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Four civilians have been killed in two separate roadside bombings in southern Kandahar province, an official said on Sunday.
The blasts happened in Mama Karez and Mang areas of Maiwand district late on Saturday, police spokesman Zia Durrani told Pajhwok Afghans News.
He said the Mama Karez explosion left three pedestrians dead and six others wounded. He blamed the Taliban for planting the roadside bomb.
Durrani added the second blast one motorcyclist was killed and two others were wounded in the Mang blast. The Taliban are yet to comment on the incidents.
