KABUL (Pajhwok): A four-day match of the Ahmad Shah Abdali Cricket Tournament between Miss Ainak and Amu Clubs ended in a tame draw on Sunday, an official said.

Miss Ainak won the toss and put the opposition in, Afghanistan Cricket Board spokesman Farid Hotal told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Fazal Niazi smashed 127 and Aamir Mangal 93 to guide Miss Ainak to 363 runs in their first innings. Abdullah captured three wickets, as Hashmatullah Shaheedi and Mahboob Shah claimed two scalps apiece.

In their first knock, Amu piled up 454 runs, thanks a magnificent double century (261) by Hashmatullah Shaheedi, Hotak said. Rehmat Shah took four wickets for Miss Ainak.

In their second innings, Miss Ainak posted a total of 382 runs, as Rehmat Sahak chipped in with a glorious ton (106).

Amu raced to 148 runs for the loss of three batsmen in their second innings. Hashmatullah Shaheedi was declared Man of the Match.
