KABUL (Pajhwok): The afghani dipped versus US dollar and prices of petroleum products, liquefied gas, ghee and gold declined during the outgoing week in Kabul, market sources said on Thursday.

The price of one kilogram of liquefied gas also declined from last week’s 70afs to 65afs, said Mohammad Sharif, a dealer in Taimani neighbourhood. He linked the decline in petroleum and gas prices to global market trends.

A 50-kg bag of Pakistani flour was sold for 1,300afs, a 50-kg bag of sugar for 1,700afs, a 24-kg bag of Pakistani rice for 1,800afs, 1-kg of black African tea for 210afs and the same quantity of Vietnamese green tea for 180afs.
