KABUL (Pajhwok): National Security Adviser Hanif Atmar on Tuesday telephoned his Pakistani counterpart to convey condolences from the government and people over the loss of innocent lives in a terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar.
While strongly condemning the terrorist act, Atmar called terrorism menace to the entire region and had to be addressed through common endeavours, a spokesman for the Pakistan Embassy here said.
Akhtar Munir quoted Atmar as telling Sartaj Aziz the Afghan people were with their Pakistani brethren facing the grim national tragedy. Aziz thanked Atmar for his expression of solidarity.
