SHIBERGHAN/FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): A clean drinking water scheme, an irrigation project and asphalting of a five-kilometre road have been completed in Jawzjan and Ghor provinces, officials said on Thursday.
The road connects Khwaja Dokoh district of northern Jawzjan with the Shiberghan-Andkhoi highway.
Jawzjan Public Works Director Attaullah Kargar said the road was asphalted at a cost of 47 million afghanis provided by the Ministry of Public Works. He said more than 30,000 people would benefit from the project.
