CANBERRA (Pajhwok): Mohammad Nabi, the captain of Afghanistan Cup face-off to be held tomorrow (Wednesday).

In a press conference, Nabi said that “I believe Bangladeshi team is under pressure for our match tomorrow. We beat them last time in their own country. We will beat them again. We have good fast bowlers.”

He said that Afghan team was happy by taking part in the World Cup for the first time. However, he asked his team players to “control their nerves and not put too much pressure on themselves.”

Andy Moles, coach of Afghanistan cricket team, said he was satisfied as the players to be at the tournament. “The Afghanistan team has come a long way in the last 12 to 14 years. They’re very excited. They want to do well for Afghan people.”

Moles said Bangladesh would prove to be a formidable opponent. “The World Cup is a magnificent opportunity.”
