1 ANA soldier killed, 2 hurt in Farah blast

FARAH CIY (Pajhwok): One Afghan National Army (ANA) soldier was killed and two others wounded in a roadside bombing in the Bala Boluk district of western Farah province on Sunday, an official said.

The blast took place at around 7:30am in Shivan village of Bala Boluk as the ANA vehicle struck a bomb, the 207 Zafar Military Corps spokesperson, Abdul Rauf Rahmani, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He siad the injured soldiers have been rushed to a nearby hospital, whose condition is said to be stable.

But an eyewitness, Niamatullah, said two army soldiers have been killed, three wounded and their vehicle completely damaged in the explosion.
