JALALABAD (Pajhwok): One person was killed and nine others wounded in a road mishap in Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, the district chief said.
Niamatullah Noorzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident took place in Sray Kala locality at around 8: 30 am in which a speedy Corolla car collided head-on with another car.
One passenger died on the spot while nine others, including three women-Jalalabad road.
Dr. Noor Agha, head of the district hospital, confirmed receiving one dead and nine wounded persons. He said the injured were in critical condition who were referred to Jalalabad hospital.
