KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistani police have rounded up scores of Afghans during a search operation in the garrison city of Rawalpindi in Punjab province, a news report said on Sunday.
At least 150 Afghan nationals were booked under the Foreign Act, The Express Tribune reported, saying the raids were conducted on Dhamial Road to purge the city of anti-social elements.
A comprehensive security plan has also been devised by police with the cooperation of traders and members of Shia and Sunni sects to ensure peace during Muharram.
