GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Three children were killed and two others wounded when a roadside bomb ripped through an auto rickshaw in the Giru district of southern Ghazni province on Tuesday, an official said.
The governor’s spokesman, Shafique Nang, said the explosion happened at about 2:30pm when the hidden bomb struck the three-wheeler carrying passengers.
The blast killed three children and injured two others aged between 9 to 13 years old.
The wounded kids were taken to a hospital in the nearby Andar district, the official said, but had no information about their condition.
With no Taliban spokesman immediately available for comment, Nang accused the rebels of planting the roadside bomb.
