3 policemen dead in Uruzgan explosions

TARINKOT (Pajhwok): Three police personnel have been killed in separate explosions in central Uruzgan province, officials said on Saturday.

Dost Muhammad Nayel, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that two police officials were killed in a bomb attack in Chinarto district last night.

A second roadside mine blast in Dehrawud district killed a third policeman and wounded a civilian, he added. Police detained Mullah commander, in connection with his role in terror activities. Taliban claimed credit for killing the policemen.
