3 policemen killed in Ghazni violence

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Three policemen were killed and another wounded in a militants’ attack in Zanakhan district of southern Ghazni province, an official said Sunday.

The Governor’s Spokesman Shafiq Nang told Pajhwok Afghan News three policemen, all of them brothers, were killed and another policeman wounded when militants stormed their security post on the outskirts of the district late Saturday night.

He added that the wounded was shifted to provincial civil hospital for treatment. A doctor in Ghazni civil hospital Dr. Noorullah confirmed receiving three bodies and one wounded policeman.

Taliban did not comment on the incident so far.
