GARDEZ (Pajhwok): Four people, including two women, were killed and five others sustained injuries on Thursday when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on the main highway in southeastern Paktia province, an official said.
The accident occurred at around 11am in the Teri Kand area on the Kabul director.
Dr. Haya Gul Paktin told Pajhwok Afghan News the injured, all men, had been rushed to the provincial civil hospital in Gardez, the provincial capital. He said one of the injured was said to be in critical condition.
The Teri Kand area is notorious for fatal traffic accidents.
