KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): At least six civilians were wounded in a bomb blast in the Spin Boldak district of southern Kandahar province on Thursday, an official said.
The governor’s spokesman, Samim Khpalwak, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the bombing in Spin Boldak, border Pakistan’s Chaman town, took place round 10:30am.
He said six civilians including a child were wounded when the device attached to a bicycle exploded in the district bazaar. The injured were evacuated to a local hospital.
The child is said to be in critical condition. Therere was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
