GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Seven persons of a family were killed in a traffic accident in southern Ghazni province on Friday, a police official said.
Col. Asadullah Insafi, senior police official, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a Corolla car collided head-on with another vehicle on Kabul-Ghazni Highway near Rozi locality on the outskirts of Ghazni City, the provincial capital, at around 8: 00 am.
Four children, two women and a man were died in the crash, he said, adding that the slain man was a dental doctor by profession in Ghazni City.
The doctor, he said was heading to Kabul with his family when his car collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction. He said that the driver of another vehicle had been detained for interrogation.
Baz Mohammad, director of Ghazni Civil Hospital, confirmed receiving seven dead bodies.
