Seven militants were killed and 10 others wounded during gunbattle in the Tagab district of central Kapisa province, Ibadullah Talwar, the deputy police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The firefight erupted in Tatarkhel locality, he said, adding five policemen were also wounded. However, civilians suffered no causalities during the exchange of fire.
