ANA officer killed in Kabul explosion

KABUL (Pajhwok): An Afghan National Army (ANA) officer was killed and his driver wounded during an explosion in the limits of the ninth police district of the capital Kabul on Saturday morning, an official said.

The incident took place at around 7:00am in front of the Khana-i-Noor High School, Kabul’s Crime Branch chief Col. Gul Agha Pacha told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He said the blast was triggered by a a magnetic bomb attached to the vehicle of the army official. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
