Baghlan blast leaves 2 children dead

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): At least two children were killed and a third wounded on Sunday when an unexploded device went off in the Khinjan district of northern Baghlan province, an official said.

Abdul Halim Haidari, the district chief, told Pajhwok News the device exploded with a big bang when children were playing with it.

An official at Public Health Department, Dr. Shah Mohammad, confirmed receiving the bodies of the children aged 10- 12 and a wounded minor.
