MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): At least six people died when a car skidded off a bridge and fell into a river in central Maidan Wardak province, an official said on Tuesday.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Ghani Khail area of Chak district late Monday.

Six people including the driver, a woman and a child were killed when the Corolla car passing a bridge fell into the river. The locals pulled out the victims’ bodies from the river.
