JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A child was killed in an explosion on Thursday morning in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, the police spokesman said.
Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in the first municipality district at around 7:30 am. The explosives were placed in a Corolla car, which resulted in the killing of a child.
Khalid, an eyewitness, said the explosion took place next to the Afghan-Turk High School, but students remained unhurt.
